LINDA COFFEE
INTRODUCTION TO ALCOHOL INKS
|
The fluid characteristics and strikingly vibrant colours make alcohol ink an exciting medium for abstract and realism techniques on various non-porous surfaces.
In this beginning-level workshop, Linda Coffee will demonstrate all of the techniques she uses for spontaneity and control in alcohol ink painting, including ink flow, textures, lifting, masking, and direct painting. All supplies will be provided. Participants will go home with a painted ceramic tile (or 2) ready for display or gifting. Just bring your notebook and a table cloth.
Linda is a member of Cobourg Art Club and Pine Ridge Art Association. She began her art education in oils and now works in acrylics, acrylic mixed media as well as inks and copper. She explores in landscapes and abstracts with a passion for colour and texture. Linda's work can be found in various galleries, art shows as well as private collections.
